Drunken Berries Cocktail

When I was up in Long Island we stopped and had a cocktail at a really cool retro bar. Their cocktails matched their decor, flashy and bold. I had the Drunken Berries made with rye whiskey. I am not a whiskey drinker but this was really good!! So when I got home I went to work to try to make something similar. My husband says I nailed it.

Drunken Berries Cocktail by Easy Life Meal and Party Planning

Drunken Berries
1 oz. - Bullet Rye
2 oz. - 7 up
1 tsp. - Simple Syrup (a splash)
1/2 tsp. - Lemon (light squeeze)
1/4 cup - Mixed Berries
I bought a bag of frozen berries and it made it a lot easier. Place thawed berries in glass, pour simple syrup and lemon juice over and muddle. Add bullet rye, 7 up and ice. Stir and serve.

White Chocolate Raspberry Martini

Valentine's Day is a great time for indulgence and this drink has the motherload of irresistible Valentine flavors wrapped into one easy cocktail - raspberry, white chocolate and chocolate.  I would suggest making a double because the first one will go down so easy!

Pomegranate Cranberry Champagne Punch

Pomegranate Cranberry Champagne Punch by Easy Life Meal and Party PlanningThis is the time of year we love sharing food, drinks and laughs with our friends and family.
At my Christmas Party we all share some of our favorite dishes, but I have to say the hit of the party was my Champagne Punch. The punch bowl station always had a crowd around it and definitely was the talk of the night.

Neon Cocktail Garnish

Neon Cocktail Garnish plus Margarita recipe - Easy Life Meal & Party PlanningMy sister was telling me where she saw someone dying lemons with food coloring. So I thought that would make a cool cocktail garnish. Who wouldn't like a little frazzle dazzle on their drink. You have to admit this is so cool and kind of neon. Now if I could find glow in the dark food coloring!

Margarita
1 shot of Rosie's Lime Juice
1 shot of Simple syrup
1 shot of Triple Sec
2 shots of Patron
Place in shaker with ice then pour

Mango Smoothie or Mango Cocktail

Mango Smoothie or Mango Cocktail by Easy Life Meal & Party Planning - a crisp and refreshing drink
This is one of my favorite drinks; it's crisp, refreshing and just plain good. Ah yes, and for parties or BBQ's add a shot of Rum and a splash of coconut rum to the smoothie and honestly your friends will not only talk about how good this is, but they will request it for your next party. So kick back with your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand and enjoy your friends.
