When searching to find a place to buy local fresh seafood,we were told about The Star Fish Company just over the bridge from Anna Maria Island. It's behind a neighborhood and you would never know its there if you haven't asked the locals where they get their seafood. Hands down it has been one of the best places we have been to. The first night we bought a Red Grouper and broiled it with a Spanish rice. Off the Hook Good! The next day we decided to go back and have lunch their. There is no inside only outside sitting and you order from a window behind the fish market. We had a blackened Grouper sandwich with the best fries. The fish was excellent and served with a soft sour dough roll. So if you are ever on the West Coast of Florida and want the best seafood I recommend this place.
