This is absolutely the best pumpkin bar ever and I make it often. You know Fall is in the air and people are converting to Fall mode when I start getting requests for these bars! Just made them last week upon a request by co-workers of my daughter. They scratched off her item on the food list and wrote in "only your Mom's pumpkin bars" allowed.

Mummy Meatballs
A cute Halloween recipe that was really easy to do, well almost. We were having a heck of a time threading the spaghetti through the meatballs. If you are planning a party you could do these ahead of time and freeze them too.Print Recipe
Mummy Meat balls
1 bag - Frozen Meatballs
1 can of Pillsbury Pizza dough
Spaghetti
Spaghetti sauce
Thaw out meatballs. Take a spaghetti noodle and thread three meatball onto noodle, break off any excess noodle.
Cut pizza dough in thin strips and wrap around skewered meatballs.

Valentine Linzer Cookies - Combo Pack Style
I didn't start out making Linzer cookies although it was on my "maybe" list. What I originally made was some decadent brownies with mini chocolate chips and marshmallows - yummm (soon to be posted). And then my husband walked in the kitchen looking like I had just taken all his toys away because I didn't make him something (non-chocolate)! So I say to myself, "I could make the Linzer cookies which he loves and it is the Valentine holiday (almost) and I don't really feel like it and it means this will run right into making supper, i.e., all afternoon in the kitchen". Hmm, do I make him happy or do I make me happy because I am just fine with the decadent brownies. Well as you can see I caved!Sunday, February 9, 2014

Pomegranate Cranberry Champagne Punch
This is the time of year we love sharing food, drinks and laughs with our friends and family. At my Christmas Party we all share some of our favorite dishes, but I have to say the hit of the party was my Champagne Punch. The punch bowl station always had a crowd around it and definitely was the talk of the night.

Decorating for the Holidays
This past Saturday was my day to be creative with decorating for the holidays. I was also determined to throw away old outdoor decorations I haven't used for years but every time I headed to the garbage, a light bulb would go off and I had an idea for repurposing the decorations. So, here are some of the things I was up to over the weekend.

Halloween Cupcake Toppers
+Terri Henkels and I were so busy coming up with things to make while she was visiting that we ran out of time. The one thing we did want to do is decorate with the cupcake toppers we bought from Michaels Craft Store. As a time saver, we bought cake mix and frosting and set out to have a little fun. We used Wiltons red glitter gel for the blood to go with the knife toppers and sprinkle bones for the Chocolate cupcakes. How fun are these cupcakes!Authored by +Shawna Williams

Vanilla Butter Sugar Cookies - Spooky Delicious
During my trip to Florida my sister, +Shawna Williams, and I spent time being festive! That is right, our kids are grown and we still made decorated sugar cookies. I used to make them with my children when they were younger and now I have sugar cookie decorating parties with my grandchildren. I must confess that I find it somewhat exhausting. We have cookie dough, frosting and food color from the kitchen to the dining area and it takes forever to make them and clean up afterwards.Monday, October 7, 2013
Halloween Decoration
My sister and I had a moment at Michaels the other day, yes you can say we got sucked up by all the Halloween Decorations and our creative juices just kicked in and before we new it our cart was full and 150 dollars later we were on our way home to do our own theme. I cut the top off the pumpkin and added floral foam inside.Monday, March 25, 2013

Savanah's Santa Letter - Easy Ginger Snap Cookies
My daughter had to write a letter to Santa for her English class and I wondered if I still had it. As I was reading it I got a big kick on how she insist that she is still good and cleans the house when her Mom ask her to, then came the list of toys. You can see the teachers corrections on the letter, which concerned Savanah that Santa wouldn't read it, I assured her that it won't be a problem and we "mailed" it off.
In our house Santa Loves these Ginger Snap Cookies.
