In another life I did quite a bit of crafting and even circuited the local craft shows but several kids and a professional career ended that extra time devoted to crafting.Instead, I found ways to channel my creative urges into parenting and public health. I haven't given a lot of thought to my past passion until I bought jars to fill with candy and hot chocolate mix. The jars were boring so I thought I had to see if I had any of those long ago skills left. I used enamel paint, sealant, sparklies, ribbon and ice crystals. Although not perfect by any means, they definitely are more interesting and festive! And the best part, I had a lot of fun being creative.
