Heavenly Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting

Heavenly Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting - Easy Life Meal & Party PlanningThis is absolutely the best pumpkin bar ever and I make it often. You know Fall is in the air and people are converting to Fall mode when I start getting requests for these bars! Just made them last week upon a request by co-workers of my daughter. They scratched off her item on the food list and wrote in "only your Mom's pumpkin bars" allowed.

Oatmeal Cashew Fudge Bars

Oatmeal Cashew Fudge Bars by Easy Life Meal & Party PlanningI have been making this recipe forever and it is definitely a favorite especially when I am in the mood for a chocolaty gooey make your teeth tingle dessert. I have to admit I have been a chocoholic probably from the moment I was born. I have a chocolate fix almost every day and to everyone's dismay I refuse to change my ways. So if you are a chocolate lover, then this is the recipe for you.

Faux Vanilla Almond Creme Fraiche over Brownies and Strawberries

Faux Vanilla Almond Creme Fraiche over Brownies &Strawberries - Easy Life Meal & Party PlanningMy sister made the most chewy, gooey brownies which set off my sweet tooth. This time of year its Florida’s Strawberry season and the thought of brownies and strawberries topped with some crème fraiche just made me twitch. We had the brownies and strawberries, but no ingredients to make creme fraiche. So I put together what I had  in the frig and it was delicious.

Every Day Should Be National Brownie Day! - The Very Best Brownies

Gourmet BrowniesI make brownies for parties, holidays, when I am blue, and when I want to celebrate so you can imagine my excitement when I noticed that yesterday was National Brownie Day. I can add this day to my list of excuses for making brownies and I jumped right on it and started baking and decorating last night.
If I have time, I love to decorate my brownies in gourmet style, however, they are also good with plain frosting, sprinkled with powder sugar or even no frosting at all.  These were made with Christmas theme colors.

Brownie DayAfter frosting with a chocolate ganache frosting, I used white chocolate chips, miniature chocolate chips, green and red miniature MM's and a few white decorating balls. I then lightly drizzled melted white chocolate over the top.

These gourmet decorated brownies can be somewhat challenging to cut neatly without the right tool.  I personally use an 8" Stanley drywall knife (I know sounds weird but I bought it specifically for this purpose and it works beautifully). I like the leverage given by the handle. They do sell professional slicers but this is what I like.
