These rolls are a great addition to your breakfast meal but they are also tasty served as a sweet dessert after dinner. Actually they also taste really good after they have cooled down in the middle of the day - they just taste good anytime :)
Ingredients
1 package crescent rolls
1/4 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup coconut
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup almonds, finely chopped
2 tablespoons flour
Directions
Combined butter, coconut, brown sugar, nuts and flour and mix together stir until thoroughly incorporated. Place a rounded teaspoon of filling on on each crescent roll; roll up starting with the wide end and rolling to point. Place point side down on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes.
(Note: You will not use all of the filling. I just freeze the left over mixture and save it for the next time I make them.)
Glaze
1/4 cup brown sugar
12 tablespoons cream
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
Directions
Combine brown sugar, milk and butter. Blend in powder sugar. glaze while rolls are still warm.
