Cheddar Cheese Beer Bread is most definitely a wonderful accompaniment to our Smoked Warm Honey & Brown Sugar Glazed Ribs. Who could resist the flavor combination of honey, brown sugar, BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese. Hmm Hmm Hmm.

Ingredients
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons sugar
2 1/4 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
12 ounces beer (any kind)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix all ingredients together, mixing in beer last. Spoon into a well greased bread pan and bake for approximately 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Note: You can also shape into two large round or oblong size balls (slightly flattened) and bake on a well greased baking pan. Remove from oven and brush butter over top. Let cool on a baking rack for approximately 10 minutes or so and then remove from pan and serve warm.
