I love a great garden salad especially in the summer when you have access to fresh vegetables. I also love pasta salad so I wondered what would happen if I mixed the two in traditional garden salad style. Well I am here to tell you that it is really scrumptious. Adding just a little bit of pasta to your salad gives it an additional texture that almost surprises you every time you take a bite and it is a very pleasant surprise. The addition of a pretty pasta really enhances the salad presentation as well. It just makes it look "fancy".
This salad includes chopped Romaine lettuce, carrot chunks, grape tomatoes, sliced eggs and a "sprinkling" of cooked Radiatore pasta. I topped it with my favorite creamy Italian salad dressing.
This is a great dish to go with the Hot Cheesy Ham & Herb Sandwich that I posted yesterday!
