Strawberry Muffins with Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread

These Strawberry Muffins are moist, full of fresh strawberries and topped with buttery crumbs. Serve warm with strawberry cream cheese spread and a light drizzle of chocolate. They are as delicious as they are pretty!

Home Grown Pineapple

It has taken almost two years for my pineapple plant to produce just one pineapple. The plant produces  a fruit on a stalk, that stalk dies but the main plant will produce another stalk for a new pineapple to grow on.This golden ripe and ready to eat little beauty was so sweet and juicy.  Here is some simple tips for cutting a pineapple. Don't forget to plant the top so in a couple of years you will have a new plant that will produce. You won't regret it because home grown always are sweeter.

Public Embarrassment #1

Last week I got the biggest kick out of Domain of the Mad Monny's blog post and it inspired me to write a little story about my own two kids when they were young and ornery.
The public embarrassment always seem to stick in your mind because of all the witnesses.

Chocolate Swirl Bundt Cake

It's a known fact that I am a huge fan of anything chocolate but my favorite chocolate dessert is always cake. This Chocolate Swirl Cake is full of chocolate syrup and drizzled with chocolate and white chocolate ganache. This showy cake is a fabulous dessert for company or for taking to a pot luck. Everyone will rave and ask for the recipe!!

Cantonese Beef

This recipe has wonderful flavors of spicy, sweet and sour. It is a long-time family favorite. Whenever we have a hankering for Chinese food but don't want to eat out, this is my go-to recipe. It takes a while to cook but it is simple to make and I love that, except for the rice, it is a one skillet meal.

Soy Glazed Chicken Wingettes

This is a scrumptious glaze with a mixture of sweet & salty with a slight spice and sesame flavor. The flavors compliment each other and making a winning glaze and/or marinade. I use the sauce to both marinate and then glaze. I love this glaze on chicken wingettes & drumettes but you can certainly use it on a whole chicken or cut up chicken.
